Sectoral Analysis

Sectoral @ratings measure the average level of non-payment risk associated with companies in particular sectors. They show how, for a given sector, the economic outlook and average financial position of companies influence payment behaviour in connection with short-term commercial transactions.

To determine this rating, Coface combines three types of measurement: sector vulnerability, which indicates the impact of market outlook, price levels and production costs on corporate solvency; company financial strength, based on Coface’s company rating database and which indicates companies’ ability to cope with economic downturns; and payment experience, whereby short-term payment behaviour is assessed using Coface’s databases. Click "here" to access it.
